MONTEBELLO & TORRIANA
The old “ Scorticata” stands at the top of a high rocky spur with the remains of the Malatesta Fortress and its Tower. This is one of the prettiest parts of the Rimini area surrounded by an untouched nature.

GEMMANO
Gemmano is a small town in the Valconca Valley. It offers breathtaking views enriched by views of the Ventena Valley. The most unspoilt natural environment in the Seignory. Not far there are the Onferno Caves and the surrounding Natural Reserve, the only one of its kind in the Rimini area.

SAN LEO
The rocky pinnacle of san Leo soars high and lofty above the foothills of the central Italian Appennines, not far inland from the city of Rimini. The town itself is a cluster of ancient cottages nestled between a magnificent medieval fortress and prominent watchtower which casts its inquisitive gaze an the whole surrounding territory, and is the protagonist of an extraordinary number of mysterious pagan and sacred legends

SANTARCANGELO
This is a magical town with a noble atmosphere, a centuries old history and builings dating back a thousand years. The old town centre is a lively place with excellent restaurants and wine bars, narrow streets and beautiful churches.

VERUCCHIO
Verucchio stands on a spur of rock, in a spectacular position giving views all along the Romagna coast and as far as the foothills of the Appennines. And highest of all stands the massive fortress, dominating the little town chosen by the Malatestas as their own place of origin.

GRADARA
At 142 metres above sea level, with the Republic of San Marino and Carpegna in the background, rises Gradara, theatre of the tragic love story of Paolo and Francesca, mentioned by Dante, Petrarca, Boccaccio and D’Annunzio Gradara is a beautiful medieval village whose walls enclose antique palaces, towers and squares, testifying the grandeur of Malatesta past.

URBINO
Those who come to Urbino without knowing its history and its importance find themselves before an extraordinary surprise, or, indeed, a miracle. In the midst of the spectacle of the hills along which the access roads run, an enchanted palace, left untouched by the passing of the time, appears suddenly. It is a leap back in time, a dive into the purity and freedom of the soul.

SAN MARINO
The Republic of San Marino was founded, according to the tradition, in 301 A.D. and is now nearly 1700 years old. It is a small country and the land is hilly and poor Many good reasons undoubtedly exist for paying a visit to San Marino: because the narrow streets and high towers are so quaint; because the scenery from its natural balcony over Italy is so magnificent or because there are so many interesting shops where lots of thing can be bought cheaply.

SAN GIOVANNI IN MARIGNANO
“The Granari of Malatesta” is the centuries old name given to San Giovanni, due to the rich fertile countryside that surrounds it. Here grain and wine are plentiful and of excellent quality. Today San Giovanni is lively town, where much goes on in the old centre where you can still look at the nice old fortifications

MONDAINO
This small ton boasts a history full of important events. The oval-shapes Piazza Maggiore is unusual and has an elegant eighteenth century portico, fine mansions and churches. The surrounding countryside is still very green and peaceful, attractive in every season

MONTECOLOMBO
Montecolombo, like all the other Malatesta castles, rests on a gentle hill overlooking the river and the plain. It is the ideal place to experience the relaxing atmosphere of the hills. This little village has preserved intact its harmony and all traces of its past.

MONTEGRIDOLFO
This centuries old fortified village stands on the border of the Romagna and Marche Regionsù and is entirely surrounded by stout walls, its entrance protected by a tower with a mediaeval gateway, carefully and completely restored in recent years

MONTEFIORE
Once the Mediaeval capital of the Conca valley, this remains one of the best preserved towns in the Seignory. The town offers plenty of entertainments, festivals, concerts and art exhibitions.

MONTESCUDO
Montescudo is situated in the middle Conca valley, on the borders of the Malatesta Seignory, close to the Republic of San Marino and the Montefeltro region. The village stands on the ridge separating the plain of Rimini from the road leading towards the foothills of the Appenine mountains. This area is full of archaeological finds linked to its ancient clay craft activities

MORCIANO
This little town boats ancient origins but has developed mainly over the last 100-150 years becoming the largest trade and services centre in the valley. It is the reference point for agriculture and crafts of a large area.

SALUDECIO
This is an interesting medieval village whose walls enclose elegant palaces, towers and piazzas, testifying the grandeur of its past.

SAN CLEMENTE
San Clemente is a small town situated in the hills. A place of peace and tranquillity, ideal for relaxing and a good starting point to visiting the inland countryside. It is renowned for its excellent food and wine, the protagonists of numerous traditional festivals

CORIANO
The countryside around Coriano is delightful: fields planted with vines and olives, scattered farmhouse and ancient villages still lived in and carefully preserved. Coriano offers all the calm of a small hinterland town but it is very closed to all the entertainment of the Riviera
